Whistleblowing

At Parsons Down we are very keen that all adults understand their roles and responsibilities around Whistleblowing.

The Public Interest Disclosure Act enables individuals to raise concerns where they have a reasonable belief that:

A criminal offence;

A miscarriage of justice; An act creating a risk to health and safety; A breach of other legal obligation;

Damage to the environment; Concealment of any of the above;

is being, has been or is likely to be committed, and it is in the public interest to disclose it, without fear of dismissal, victimisation or detriment.

Parents who have any concerns that they wish to report should feel confident that they can do so. We are very happy to support any parents with such issues.
