We had a lot of fun celebrating World Book Day this week. On Thursday afternoon we had a shared reading opportunity and it was heart-warming to see children of different ages sharing a love of books.
We also had a World Book Day Cake competition. This was judged by the School Council and once again the standard was very high. Winners were announced on Friday and will have a £12.50 book token to spend at the forthcoming Travelling Book Fayre. Thank you to the PDSA for organising the event and for everyone who supported the cake sale on Friday.
