Today was our last Eco Assembly of the year (and Miss Shepherd's last Eco Assembly at PDP)! 🥲
We recapped all of our eco actions for the year and some of our Eco Councillors shared their best moments. Layla particularly remembers being given the Environmental Champions Award by the Mayor of Thatcham, which made her nervous but also proud.
Thomas said, "I have enjoyed being on the Eco Council this year because I liked seeing the interesting results of the energy checks and I like working with the environment which made me enjoy nature more".
James said, "I liked Ocean Protectors Day because we wore blue and blue is my favourite colour".
We also revealed, during assembly, that the school has been awarded an Eco-Schools Flag with Distinction! We are absolutely thrilled!
