Eco-Schools Update

In our Eco Committee Meeting today, we wrote letters to our MP and local paper to ask them to join us on our Ocean Protectors Day.

We also checked each classrooom to make sure they had their switch off posters up. All but 2 classes did. We put up some extra posters in the communal areas.

We also invited Mrs Thomas, our School Manager, to attend the meeting so that we could ask her if the school could participate in No Mow May this year. She agreed that we could and we have chosen some areas on the school grounds that won't be mown in May - the roundabout and the verge next to the school gates. We already have a large wildflower meadow that won't be mown. This just leaves the field which needs to be kept mown for sporting events.
