Today, the Eco-Committee met to write their Action Plan. We have chosen to do the following:
Energy
Have an energy saving outdoor learning day which we will tie in with Outdoor Classroom Day.
Design some posters/signs reminding people to turn off electrical items when not in use.
Take part in the Cut Your Carbon Campaign by setting it as homework for families.
Marine
Have a non-curriculum day raising money for a marine conservation charity.
Ban glitter in school.
School Grounds
Arrange a working party to tidy the school garden.
Allocate areas of the garden to different classes/year groups.
Take part in Outdoor Classroom Day.
Take part in No Mow May.
Take part in 30 Days Wild.
